Do corporate social responsibility practices have an impact on employer attractiveness – an approach to corporate volunteering programs

Purpose The purpose of this study is to understand the impact that Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) practices have on perceived attractiveness companies in eyes their employees and potential candidates. Moreover, assesses mediation role Extrinsic (EA) Intrinsic Attributions (IA) about Volunteering (CV) relationship. Design/methodology/approach Three hundred five responses were collected an online questionnaire a Structural Equation Modelling model was designed explain proposed relationships variables under study. Findings authors found IA employees/candidates make CV programs direct positive company’s attractiveness; it not possible conclude same EA. Originality/value Unlike studies already existing area corporate focus perspective customers, with high organizational implementation CSR benefits, has adopted different focuses opinion company employees, as well By limiting participation anyone, covers wide range participants, allowing broader knowledge labor market.
